Organisers of Barnsley Live have confirmed that the free one-day music festival, which has taken place since 2018, will end in its current form.
The event has grown into a celebration of local music and community, attracting thousands each year. Organisers have thanked performers, venues, Barnsley Council and volunteers, and say they will continue to support local artists through future events in a more sustainable way.
