Barnsley Council has approved funding for its school uniform support scheme and Year 11 support packs,
A total of £2.7 million will be invested as part of the Great Childhoods Ambition, aimed at helping families and young people across the borough.
This one-off investment is being made possible thanks to an improved local government financial settlement for the 2025/26 financial year.
