Barnsley’s Big Weekend returns 12 and 13 July with a packed line-up of free entertainment across the town centre.
Saturday highlights include the return of the Brassed On! brass festival in The Glass Works Square and Library @ The Lightbox, with live music from 10.30am to 4pm, including headline act Grimethorpe Colliery Band and the energetic Mr Wilson’s Band.
Barnsley Pride also celebrates its 15th year today, with performances in Mandela Gardens from 12pm to 5pm, and an 18+ stage at The Garrison from 1pm to 8pm.
On Sunday 13 July, ‘What’s Your Move’ Day will bring sports, dance, and family fun to The Glass Works Square and Cheapside from 11am to 4pm.
