A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a collision in Barnsley.Police say a pedestrian was struck by a car while crossing Harborough Hill Road.The driver initially left the scene but was later arrested. Officers are still trying to trace the vehicle involved, described as a blue Audi, and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
