A former quarry and landfill site in Barnsley could soon be redeveloped into housing.Regional leaders have approved over one and a half million pounds in funding for the Cudworth Parkway scheme, which aims to deliver 144 homes on the 13-acre brownfield site. Work will follow ground stability checks and planning approval, according to the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority.
