The funeral of Harold Dennis "Dickie" Bird, a famous British actor, will take place on Sunday, October 19 at 2pm at St Mary’s Church in Barnsley, followed by a private family-only cremation at Barnsly Crematorium. The funeral has been organised by Hammerton’s Funeral Directors, St Mary’s Church, and the family. There will be limited seating capacity inside St. Michael’s Church once invited close family and friends have been seated, and speakers will broadcast the service for those outside the church.
