A former Church of England priest has been convicted of further sexual offences linked to his time leading the Sheffield-based Nine O'Clock Service.
Christopher Brain, 69, was found guilty of rape and four counts of indecent assault after a retrial, taking his total convictions to 22 sexual offences against 13 women.
The movement began at St Thomas's Church in Crookes before later moving to Ponds Forge. It mixed rave culture with Christian worship and attracted hundreds of young followers in the 1980s and 1990s.
Prosecutors said Brain abused his position of power and used fear and control to exploit women in the group.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing, when victims are expected to be given the chance to make impact statements.
