A children's social worker has been found guilty of animal welfare offences after 84 dogs and two cats were discovered living in what the RSPCA described as appalling conditions at a property in Tickhill, near Doncaster.
David Parkes denied responsibility but was convicted of three offences following a trial at Barnsley Magistrates' Court.
The animals were removed following an RSPCA investigation into conditions at the property.
Parkes, his wife Delphine and their son Sam are due to be sentenced at Doncaster Magistrates' Court on 9 December.
