A dedicated accommodation hub for women experiencing or at risk of rough sleeping is being proposed in Rotherham.
The council's cabinet is due to consider the plan as part of proposals for the Homelessness, Rough Sleeper and Domestic Abuse Grant.
The women-only hub, planned for October 2027, would provide safe accommodation and trauma-informed support tailored to women's needs.
The council says women facing homelessness can often be less visible than men because they may stay in hidden or unsafe situations rather than sleep on the street.
