Young Reds defender Arley Kay has signed his first professional contract at Oakwell, with talks over a new deal already under way.
Barnsley youngster Arley Kay has signed his first professional contract with the club, following in the footsteps of his father Antony, who also played for the Reds.
The defender has caught the eye in pre-season, earning an assist in a strong showing against Lincoln City.
His father Antony has said Barnsley is the best place for his son to keep developing, and confirmed that negotiations over a new contract are already open.
Arley Kay has spoken about the chance to follow in his dad's footsteps at Oakwell.
