Barnsley Council Cabinet to consider updated risk management policy
Barnsley Council's Cabinet will be asked to approve refreshed documents setting out how the authority identifies, assesses and manages risk.
Barnsley Council's Cabinet is set to consider an updated Risk Management Policy and Framework at its meeting on Wednesday 7 October.
The refreshed documents set out how the council identifies, assesses and manages risks across its services, with the aim of protecting the authority and the services residents rely on.
The policy and framework are reviewed periodically to make sure they keep pace with the changing pressures facing local government.
The papers will go before Cabinet members for discussion and a decision at the October meeting.
Further details, including the full reports, are available on the council's website ahead of the meeting.
