New dance and music show PIA to come to Barnsley Civic in 2027
A new production choreographed by Katya Bourvis and set to music by composer Hannah Peel will be performed at Barnsley Civic after its world premiere in London.
A new dance and music production called PIA will be staged at Barnsley Civic on Thursday 14 October 2027, it has been announced.
The show is choreographed and directed by Katya Bourvis, working with creative producer Tala Lee-Turton, and features music by award-winning composer Hannah Peel.
It receives its world premiere at Milton Court Concert Hall at the Barbican in London on Friday 23 October.
The production has been commissioned by the Barbican and Barnsley Civic, bringing a major new piece of dance and music to Barnsley audiences next year.
More details about tickets and the full programme for the Barnsley performance are expected to be shared nearer the time.
