Barnsley school teams enjoy wins over Leeds

Barnsley's school representative sides had a good week, with wins for both the under-15 girls and the under-14 boys.

The under-15 schoolgirls beat Leeds 1-0, with Lily Clarke getting the goal that settled the game.

The under-14 schoolboys had to come from behind, recovering from a goal down to take the win.

These district sides bring together the best young players from schools across the Barnsley borough, and the results are a good sign for grassroots football in the area.
