Four adults accused of murdering a newborn baby in Sheffield have appeared at Sheffield Crown Court.
Andrea Skopova, Peter Horvath Jnr, Peter Horvath Snr and Nina Horvathova are charged with murdering the baby, known during proceedings as Baby S, whose body was discovered in Wincobank in August. The child has since been identified as Maria Skopova.
No pleas were entered to the murder charge at the latest hearing. A further hearing is scheduled for December, with a trial currently due to begin in April 2027.
A 15-year-old girl also faces an allegation of perverting the course of justice. Proceedings remain active and none of those charged should be regarded as guilty unless and until convicted by a court.
