M1 traffic held after lorry and van crash near Sheffield

Traffic was temporarily held on the M1 in South Yorkshire after a crash involving a lorry and a van near Sheffield.

The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway at Junction 31, the A57 Worksop Road junction for Sheffield and Worksop.

All traffic was temporarily held and there was stationary traffic in the area.

Drivers were advised to allow extra time for their journeys or to avoid the area if possible.
