Man City found guilty of 114 FFP charges
Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 of 115 charges related to breaching Financial Fair Play rules.
Manchester City, the country's most successful club, has been found guilty of 114 of its 115 charges related to breaching Financial Fair Play (FFP) rulings between 2009 and 2025/26.
The charges stem from the club's inability to provide accurate financial information and the Premier League's accusation of agreeing "sham contracts" and "sham agreements" to artificially increase revenue and reduce running costs.
The club may be forced to pay north of £500m in compensation to other sides who featured in the Premier League during this period.
West Ham United would be the most likely to receive £28.08m, while Burnley would be owed roughly £19.2m. Leicester City could potentially receive up to £17.9m in merit payments, despite falling into trouble recently.
