A new bus service has started running between Rotherham and Crystal Peaks. The number 27 service officially began on Monday 5 October and is operated by SMT.
The route serves areas including Rotherham, Moorgate, Whiston, Ulley, Swallownest, Aston, Aughton, Beighton and Crystal Peaks.
It creates a new direct public transport connection between Rotherham and the Crystal Peaks area.
Another new Rotherham route starts this weekend. The number 43 will connect Rotherham and Meadowhall through areas including Munsbrough, Wingfield and Kimberworth from Saturday 10 October.
The number 43 will operate on Saturdays and Sundays.
So two new links are being added to Rotherham's bus network within the space of a week.
