Police have named the man who died following Tuesday's explosion on Clifton Mount in Rotherham.
He was Rory Costello, 60, who was also known as Rory Conway. Emergency services were called to the residential street on Tuesday afternoon.
South Yorkshire Police says investigators have found no evidence of a crime and the current assessment is that the explosion resulted from a household accident.
The exact cause is still being investigated and the death has been referred to the coroner. Cadent previously confirmed that the explosion was not connected to its gas network.
