RSPCA rescues 84 dogs from Doncaster house
A dog rescued with 83 others from a property in Doncaster has found a new home with a North Yorkshire couple.
RSPCA officers discovered 84 dogs living in squalid conditions at a property in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, in April last year.
The animals were covered in faeces and urine and had been left to breed alone. The RSPCA described the conditions as "the worst they had encountered during their careers".
The dogs have since been adopted by Wendy and Lindsay Cann, from Cowley in North Yorkshire.
