Sheffield street fight leaves two men injured
Police were called to West Street in Sheffield at 4.53am after reports of an injured man following a fight.
South Yorkshire Police were called to West Street in Sheffield at 4.53am this morning to reports of an injured man.
One man had been attacked several times by a group of people, who then moved on to attack the second man.
The 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged. A second 24-year-old man also received minor injuries.
The incident resulted in a partial road closure on West Street between Eldon Street to Rockingham Street while officers conducted enquiries. If you have any information, contact the police on 101 or online, quoting incident number 112 of October 1.
