Ryan Roxborough, from Doncaster, has admitted stealing more than £37,000 in cash and high-value goods during a series of break-ins involving 12 Sheffield properties.
The offences involved locations including businesses, student accommodation and St Mary's Church.
The stolen property included thousands of pounds in cash and merchandise.
Roxborough is due to be sentenced on Wednesday 16 December.
