It was a frustrating weekend for Sheffield Steelers, who lost both games of their double-header against Fife Flyers after overtime.
On Saturday, Sheffield Steelers lost 2-1 to Fife Flyers after overtime. Yesterday in Scotland, Fife Flyers won 2-1 against Sheffield Steelers, again after overtime.
Sheffield equalised through Mikko Juusola in the second period yesterday before Miika Paranen won it for Fife in overtime.
That means two games, two 2-1 defeats, and both decided in overtime. The Steelers did at least collect a league point from each game.
