About Yorkshire Prize Club

Hi, I am Shannon 🙂

Hi everyone!

My name is Shannon, and I’m the person behind Yorkshire Prize Club. I wanted to re-introduce myself, explain a little about what I do, and share the idea behind the business.

I’ve always loved the idea of supporting independent businesses, and I wanted to find a way to do a little more of it. We have some absolutely lovely independent businesses across Yorkshire, offering fantastic products, services and experiences, but sometimes they can get overlooked amongst the bigger names.

So, I had an idea… 💡

What if I could help more people discover these businesses, support them financially, and give people the chance to win something lovely at a fraction of its usual cost?

And that’s how Yorkshire Prize Club came about!

The idea is simple. I purchase products, vouchers and experiences from independent businesses and turn them into prize competitions for our community to enjoy.

The business gets paid for what I purchase, receives additional exposure through my social media, and hopefully reaches people who might never have discovered them otherwise. Meanwhile, you get the chance to win something you might love, without having to pay the full price.

And unlike asking a small business to fund its own giveaway, I take on the cost myself. If it doesn’t sell as well as I’d hoped, that’s my risk to take, not theirs!

My bigger aim is to build a community that brings people together, helps put independent businesses on the map, and gives us all a few exciting opportunities along the way. Because supporting local doesn’t always have to mean spending more; sometimes it’s simply about discovering who’s right on our doorstep. 💜

It would mean so much if you could give Yorkshire Prize Club a follow, share the page with a friend, or simply come and have a look at what we’re building.

I’m a small business myself, and every follow, share and bit of support genuinely makes a difference.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this far. 🙂

Hopefully, I’ll see some of you over on Yorkshire Prize Club!
