A specialist clinic has opened at Doncaster Royal Infirmary to provide coordinated care for pregnant women with epilepsy. The Epilepsy in Pregnancy Clinic is based within the hospital's Antenatal Clinic and brings together maternity and epilepsy specialists. The monthly service forms part of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals' Maternal Care Bundle and works closely with the Epilepsy Specialist Nursing Service at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. The aim is to provide joined-up specialist support throughout pregnancy.
