Families across Barnsley are being invited to share their experiences of waiting for an autism assessment as local health and council services look at the support available during the process. The work involves Barnsley Hospital, the local NHS integrated care board and Barnsley Council.
Families can also access support through Barnsley's Local Offer while they wait for an assessment. Anyone needing help completing the survey or finding appropriate support can contact the Local Offer team on 0800 0345 340, option 5, or email SENDLocalOffer@Barnsley.gov.uk.
