Four Barnsley training projects will share over £800,000 to bring practical artificial intelligence skills into everyday workplaces.
The funding is aimed at people in roles and situations where AI skills can make a day-to-day difference — including care workers, women returning to employment and builders.
The money comes through a government scheme designed to build practical AI know-how in ordinary jobs rather than just in tech firms.
Further details of the individual projects and how people can take part have not been set out in the announcement.
