Barnsley will come together this November to honour those who have served in the Armed Forces through a remembrance initiative called The Roses Remember.
The council says the names of Barnsley's fallen will be softly whispered through illuminated roses, which will be lit red to represent poppies, creating a poignant tribute.
The Roses Remember runs from Saturday 7 November, according to the council.
It sits alongside the wider remembrance services being held across Barnsley in November, when communities gather to pay tribute to those who have lost their lives in war.
We'll bring you more on the town's remembrance events as the details are confirmed.
