South Yorkshire Police says two brothers have been jailed after being convicted over a shotgun attack in the Jump area of Barnsley.
Police said CCTV showed Daniel and Jamie Galfsky inside a vehicle which drove towards premises on Cemetery Road at around 9.30pm on 21 January before a shotgun was fired, damaging a window. The vehicle, registered to Jamie Galfsky, was found burnt out near Wombwell Woods two days later.
Both men denied possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence but were convicted after a trial at Sheffield Crown Court. Daniel Galfsky was also charged with criminal damage.
Jamie Galfsky, 37, of Silkstone View, Barnsley, was sentenced to six years and six months. Daniel Galfsky, 35, of the same address, was sentenced to six years.
