Analysis from the Centre for Cities has highlighted that England's cities and large towns contain more than half of the country's young people who are not in education, employment or training.
The findings raise questions about the opportunities, skills, employment and support available to young people locally in Doncaster.
The Centre for Cities figures are based on 2021 Census data, which the organisation notes is a snapshot of that time rather than a measurement of Doncaster's position today.
The analysis points to three areas that could make the biggest difference: more jobs, better training, and better careers support.
