Community volunteers in Hemingfield are launching a Community Speed Watch scheme aimed at tackling speeding on local roads, Barnsley Council says.
The Hemingfield Action Group is behind the initiative, which sees volunteers take to the streets to record vehicle speeds and help make the area's roads safer for everyone.
The scheme is part of wider work by the council to support communities who want to take action on speeding where they live.
We'll bring you more details on the scheme, including where and when volunteers will be out, as soon as they are confirmed.
