Police patrols have been increased around Wickersley School and Sports College in Rotherham following a report of a man acting suspiciously and approaching a child.
The school alerted parents and asked families to remind young people about staying safe around unknown adults. The local neighbourhood policing team has been made aware of the report and patrol plans have been updated.
