Barnsley's under-18s picked up another Professional Development League victory after beating Peterborough United 2-1.
The young Reds established a two-goal advantage as they looked to make home advantage count against the visitors.
Peterborough continued to push for a route back into the contest and eventually reduced the deficit late in the game.
Barnsley held firm during the closing stages, however, to secure the victory and add another positive result to their Professional Development League campaign.
The result gives the young Reds further momentum as they continue their programme of academy fixtures.
