Young people involved in anti-social behaviour could lose their free MiCard bus travel. Barnsley Council issued the warning following concerns over incidents at Barnsley Interchange.
The MiCard gives eligible young people in Barnsley free bus travel across South Yorkshire when journeys begin or end within the borough.
Councillor Sam Burdett described the scheme as "a privilege, not a right" and said eligibility could be reviewed where the scheme is abused.
The warning follows trouble at the interchange, including an August incident where a man was assaulted and two 15-year-old boys were arrested.
