A Sheffield man has been jailed for 20 years after being convicted of a campaign of sexual, physical and psychological abuse against a woman. South Yorkshire Police say Farman Ali, 28, raped the victim six times and sexually assaulted her twice during a six-month period between 2024 and 2025. He also threatened members of her family after she reported the abuse to police. Two women, Zarina Zarina and Saadia Mohammad, were each sentenced to three years and two months for their roles in the abuse.
