Barnsley Hospital's charity, EyUp!, is appealing to people across Barnsley to support its Christmas gift appeal, working alongside Dunelm's Delivering Joy campaign.
The charity says around 500 patients will be staying on its inpatient wards over the festive season, and the appeal aims to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to those who will be away from home.
Dunelm's Delivering Joy scheme works by gathering gift requests from local care homes, schools, refuges and charities, then displaying them on trees in stores for customers to pick up and buy for.
EyUp! is the official charity of Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, supporting patients and staff across the trust's services.
Anyone wanting to help can ask in their local Dunelm store about taking part in the appeal.
